An Daroch
An Daroch is a lovingly restored seafront holiday cottage on the Cowal shore, just a few minutes’ drive from Dunoon, with unforgettable views over the Firth of Clyde. Once a much-loved family home, it is now shared with guests as a warm, characterful place to stay.
The cottage sleeps up to 6, with three bedrooms – a king-size room with garden doors, a king-size room with en-suite shower and a twin room – and two bathrooms. The living room’s wide picture window frames the seascape, with a wood-burning stove for cosy nights, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
Outside, the enclosed garden and patio are a safe place for children to play, with the sea as a backdrop. It is a great base for the Cowal Way, Benmore Botanic Garden, beaches, forest walks and the Arrochar Alps.
