Argyll Hotel
Argyll Hotel
A landmark Victorian building right on Dunoon's seafront, the Argyll Hotel sits opposite the ferry pier with its distinctive tower making it one of the town's best-known sights. It's a handy first stop for anyone arriving off the Western Ferries or CalMac boats.
Many of the rooms look out over the Firth of Clyde towards the Cowal hills and across to the mainland. The hotel is also home to two dining options, including an Italian restaurant, so guests can eat without needing to venture far.
It's a straightforward, central base for exploring Dunoon and the wider Cowal Peninsula, whether you're here for the ferry connections, the Highland Games or just a seaside break.
