Glenfinart Caravan Park
A family-managed caravan park at Ardentinny, around 14 miles from Dunoon, set on the former site of HMS Armadillo, a WWII Royal Naval Commando training camp at the mouth of Loch Long.
The park is half a mile from Ardentinny Beach, with wide open spaces, loch views and resident red squirrels, and is a short drive from Blairmore Pier, Benmore Botanic Garden and the Quadmania activity centre.
Open from 1 April to 31 October (plus a short Christmas and New Year period), it's a peaceful spot for caravan hire or touring, well placed for swimming, hiking, fishing and watersports.
