Lapwing Designs
Lapwing Designs is the jewellery business of Natalie Sedgwick, a goldsmith based in Dunoon who designs and makes handmade silver and gold jewellery inspired by Scotland’s landscapes, flora and fauna.
Natalie uses traditional hand-forming methods to shape wire and sheet into fluid pieces in sterling silver, 9ct and 18ct gold, often set with gemstones such as labradorite. Her range includes rings, earrings, necklaces and pendants, bracelets and bangles, a men’s range and wedding jewellery, and many pieces are one-offs.
She specialises in bespoke commissions made to your own design, and also offers repairs and alterations – including ring resizing, broken chains and cleaning. Gift cards are available.
Natalie holds a BA in Design and trained as a goldsmith through an apprenticeship at Skye Jewellery, then ran her own shop in Broadford on Skye before moving to Dunoon.
