Innellan Golf Club

Innellan Golf Club

Innellan Golf Club is a traditional nine-hole course set on the hillside above the village of Innellan, just south of Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula. Established in 1891, it's a par-64 course with sweeping panoramic views across the Firth of Clyde towards Ailsa Craig, Bute, Cumbrae and Arran.

The layout mixes tricky par-3s with strategic par-4s, including the well-known 400-yard 6th hole, nicknamed 'Rubicon' by members. It's a relatively short but characterful links-style test rather than a championship course.

Visitors are welcome year-round, though the clubhouse is only staffed part-time over summer, so it's worth emailing ahead to check the fixture list and availability, as the course closes for club competitions on many summer Monday evenings.
