The Lido Community Shop
The Lido Shop in Innellan is the only community-owned shop and post office in Cowal. It was bought by South Cowal Community Enterprises in December 2019 to save this vital local asset, and more than 340 local people are now shareholders.
The shop stocks locally sourced fresh meat, fish, vegetables, baked goods, soups and ice cream, along with newspapers, wines and crafts from local artisans.
As well as full post office services, the Lido offers personal banking services and sells Western Ferries car tickets.
